Best Decision Ever, Upgraded from my old but still very good Iphone 3gs! After seeing another customer with a demo phone in a mobile phone shop, I asked whether I could take a look at the phone as the design caught my eye, cause the transparent strip was lit from behind. At first glance it looked fairly big but it can fit into the palm of most peoples hands comfrotably and the curved back makes it mould into your palm. The screen is just mindblowing. At 342PPi its the highest density mobile device you can buy on the mainstream consumer market. The screen is so good it actually looks like its printed. This display is miles ahead of the Iphone 4gs or even the New Ipad retina display, which are excellent displays in themselves. I purchased the phone as the price was very attractive, and then comes the best part. The UI is very streamlined and amongst the best on the android devices. Sony's own apps such as the browser, weather and calender apps are very good and fit perfectly with the phone. Theres even their own version of Shazam which In my opinion works better as It identifies even the most unheard of songs. There is also a inbuilt Data monitor so that Mobile internet users are alerted or can keep track of their monthly usage. The Camera is also very very good. At 12mp it beats most phones out there and has very realistic colour reproduction and focus. I find Samsung cameras a bit too over exaggerated on the colour side but this is just right. There is also built in Sweep panaroma, 3D camera and fast capture, features that are rare on android gingerbread 2.3 devices. Battery Life is good if not exeptional but this is to be expected with a phone sporting a 1.5ghz Dual core processor which handles all tasks very very quickly and I have never come accross the phone slowing down even in the most demanding situations. One thing I must complain about though is the lack of a voice recorder or notes app. These can be downloaded as aftermarket ones from Android market, a simple resolvable issue but I need to mention it In this fair review. Apart from that I have not once experienced any problems or crashes with my phone yet (touch wood). Another thing to note is, that this phone does come with a USB charge cable and a very high quality set of in ear plug earphones which is very generous of sony. In all, a very high quality product from Sony which sports top camera features, the best screen on any phone I have seen, and a very easy to use and attractive interface in a unique designed housing. I hope Sony continues making promising products like this in order to revive their dud predecessor sony ericsson as this phone is amongst the top of the smartphone market and has set some very high benchmarks in some areas which will be hard to surpass. 21 April 2012

Amazing Phone! I have to say, out there right now, this has to be the best phone. The camera is fantastic, the screen is unbelievably outstanding and its just super fast. The only downfall for me is the battery but i am sure that will be addressed in an update. Overall Rating for me 9/10. Thanks Sony! 21 March 2012

i like it very much this is my first smartphone and i am very satisfied with it, except the battery life which lasts apr. 10-15hr with all the energy saving staff. i-net runs good on wi-fi and without it, even in warehouse:) and the camera is fantastic. 20 March 2012
