brilliant phone I love this this phone can't say anything bad about it! Only I have to charge it everyday but thats because I'm always using it :) never had a Samsung before but its really easy to use. 03 January 2013

I now have two! I've had an SII for a year now and I'm delighted with it, I got a second one for my wife for Christmas as she had been dropping not so subtle hints about how much she liked mine, I notice the software is a different version to my phone but no major differences that I can see. Why go for the more expensive SIII when this phone does everything and more that we need. A neat phone with a big HD display Oh and included in the package was a free Galaxy Tab2... A good all-round phone! All good - camera is amazing, and apps work brilliantly. The only problem is that battery life is poor if you don't configure the settings to make sure it is not draining the battery constantly. Once I changed the settings, the battery was fine. 24 October 2012

Excellent Android smartphone Just about small enough for your pocket, screen is beautifully bright and clear. ICS works well on this phone & is fast and seamless - no glitches! Telephone voice quality is much better than my old HTC Desire, but the slimness of the handset does make you feel a little unsure of dropping the thing. Signal strength seems very good, build quality is excellent even though the back is flimsy & plastic & the camera takes good photos for a phone! All in all a very good phone - recommended! 17 October 2012

Excellent features and easy to use Upgraded from an older Samsung phone and love this phone. So easy to navigate between screens and large screen makes it easy to read. For anyone who is a bit of a technophobe and not sure which phone to choose I would say go for this one. Has everything I expected in my new phone and so much more. 13 October 2012

Excellent phone, Android beats iOS! Having used both iOS and Android, there's only one for me: Android. And Samsung has really embraced this operating system with gusto. I owned the Samsung Monte and was less than impressed with that phone. Then I had an HTC Desire before moving back to Samsung. 28 August 2012

Samsung S2 Galaxy I upgraded as it was due to be renewed, I looked at another Blackberry but didnt like the quality, read reviews on Samsung Galaxy S2 which were mostly favourable so took the plunge and very glad I did it runs the Android system which you can change to your hearts delight, nice phone well thought out with a very nice screen. Looked for the best deal I could get without any problems found Phones4u to be easy to talk too they sorted out everything without hassle very pleased.Thanks 18 August 2012

The Samsung Galaxy S2 comes with Gingerbread 2.3.x however now that Ice Cream Sandwich has been released as an update by Samsung you will be able to download it and install it on the phone if you so wish.

The Galaxy S2 will come supplied with Gingerbread 2.3.4 and as Ice Cream Sandwich has just been released for the Galaxy S2 you will be able to download it yourself.
