Samsung's Galaxy range is well known for its out-of-this-world specs but if you're looking for a handset with technology that is a little less alien, then the Samsung Galaxy Ace might just do the job.

The pocket-friendly 3.5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen is just the right size for enjoying whatever you fancy and there's plenty to get your teeth into. The Galaxy Ace is powered by an 800MHz processor, which is teamed with Android 2.2 Froyo so you're in safe hands from the start. Browsing isn't a problem with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity on board and all the usual Google apps are included too.

The Galaxy Ace's 5MP camera will keep you busy as will the media player and there's 158MB of internal memory in which to save all your files. If this doesn't sound like enough then you can always invest in a microSD card; there's support for anything up to 32GB. The cut-price Samsung Galaxy Ace comes with all the necessary goodness but is a little easier to navigate than its bigger galactic siblings.

excellent phone and features Excellent easy to use touch screen phone. Clear features and good for texting and browsing. All apps when and where you want them. excellent phone, loads of additions you can add on, easy to learn how to use. My first phone was returned as it would not swipe to open the phone, this second phone is great to use and play with, Dialaphone swapped it without any problems. 14 December 2012

PRODUCT OK PROVIDER RUBBISH!!! I've already wrote a review on another site but as you have asked me for 1 here goes. Product never got chance to use it as Dialaphone did not connect me. Lots of promises no action! Cancelled contract immediately and will never use dialaphone again. 11 December 2012

Not enough memory. Although this is an excellent phone, well made and reliable...it has one major drawback...The internal phone memory. SD cards are great, but there are certain apps that will not write to the SD card and will only work on the phone's own internal memory...such as Facebook, Twitter and Dropbox. These will not transfer to the SD card, and the phone's internal memory is so small that you constantly get a message telling you to delete some apps. This is really annoying! As well as this issue, texting off this phone is a struggle as the keypad constantly types the wrong letter, and you have to re-edit your text messages 2 or 3 times before sending. Aside from these 2 major issues, the phone is good, but unless they fix these two problems, I wont be using this phone for much longer. 07 December 2012

getting used to a smart phone My first touch screen and smart phone. Taking a bit of getting used to, particularly writing with the key board, buttons are small. Can no longer text without looking at my phone. Good phone generally though. 27 October 2012

simple to use and great selection of apps and features Been using this fone for about 3 weeks its simple to use , its has some great apps. Its great for everything from using internet to playing games and everything thing else you would want from a smart phone at an affordable price. I would definately recommend this phone to all age groups...in fact i already have ...3 friends are also using this phone now. I cant say anything bad about it . 01 October 2012

Phone is a reasonable good all round phone Too early in contract to get the most from the phone but seems ok at present, features are reasonable. More interested in when I really need the phone due to vehicle breakdown etc 31 August 2012
