The BlackBerry Bold 9700, the fastest, sleekest edition to the Blackberry family. A lot of work has been done since the original Bold, and it has definitely paid off. Its lost 25percent of its body weight, gone is the thick metal surround, replaced by sleek chrome features and glossy black plastic and in true BlackBerry fashion; the sophistication factor is sorted with the faux leather battery cover.
The improvements don't stop there, underneath the slick casing; the Blackberry Bold 9700 comes into its own. There's a 3.2megapixel snapper complete with the usual functions to boost image quality, autofocus, image stabilisation and LED Flash. There's also 3G and Wi-Fi access as well as a super quick CPU, making the 9700 possibly the best BlackBerry to date.
Battery life has been extended as well, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 brags an extra 3 days on its predecessor, providing 38hours of solid music playback. If you're less a musician, more a communicator, there are all the usual Blackberry communication tools onboard as well as a document editor, giving you plenty of time to get your work done.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is definitely a step in the right direction; whether you want a business phone or a communication tool it's got all the right functions to get you through the day.

I have just got this phone its fab I love it its got great features, its robust and a good qwerty keyboard its a must for people who dislike touch screens. Its a stylish looking phone not too big but big enough to text easily on its keyboard, the screen is nice and bright and the keys light up so you can see what you are doing. Its new to me so I havent learnt everything about it but I am impressed with the user guide on the handset you just select the help key and instructions pop up. So far so good!

Fantastic little phone, pity the signal is nowhere near as good as my old Nokia E63.
3.2 cam is pretty good, BlackBerry software is badly in need of updating.. being left behind by Nokia im afraid

I have recently taken out a monthly contract for a Blackberry Bold with 3UK and am very impressed with the features I have used so far on this Blackberry. I am enjoying immensely, discovering more of the vast range of capabilities of this amazing technological masterpiece. If you are as new to mobiles as I am it will take you a while to work out how to use some of the features not included on Laptop/Desktop computers...like GPS (to enable you to receive directions to a chosen location)
+ Pros
1. FullL QWERTY Keyboard with Predictive text making typing easier.
2.Excellent e-mail capabilities
3. Effective trackpad navigation system with adjustable touch-senistive settings
4. Fast internet Browsing experience
5.Powerful and effective Speaker key faciliitates easy 2-way communication during phone calls.
- Cons
!. Very small keyboard keys can make typing difficult
2. From my experience - and having talked with 3UK - it seems that many applications from Blackberry world apps website are not compatible with this model and could not be viewed upon downloading.
However, overall a worthwhile investment of money and time in learning how to use it whether for business or pleasure; in my case both !

Got this phone yesterday and I love it. I would definitely recommend it to those who like the Blackberry style. The only problem I've had is setting up a personal email account but that's a Network fault.

This is a well designed phone, the measurements are descent and there seems like there is alot of applications. I would definitly be inclined to purchase this phone. Also I would push others to do the same.
