The LG Viewty is slightly larger than the other well known LG touchscreen phone, the Prada, but it does share some of its software including the fish that swims around the screen and responds to your touch. Even the photo gallery has been enhanced, with photos able to be shuffled around the screen with your finger!

hi i give this phone a 4/5 its a fantasic phone only down fall is mine came with no usb lead disc so i can downlond songs or upload photo"s to my laptop also they were no head phones with mine anyone no were to obtain these?????? your help would be greatful

This is the first phone I've had that after 18months is still going strong. I've had no problems at all with the phone during this time and now its time for an upgrade I'll definately be hanging onto my old phone as backup. Touch screen works brilliant, menus easy to navigate round, camera works really well along with the video. Highly recommend this phone.

Good phone but needs more features. It can stick and freeze up at times. But it is an extremely fun phone. The camera is excellent. It would be better if there were more games on it because it only comes with one shooter game as standard.

Got my phone a couple of days ago and i must say its been amazing, great camera, really easy to use interface. My only problem would be it has no wifi but the built in 3G internet is extremely fast anyway. So if you want a phone fr WiFi look elsewhere but for anything else, this phone is a great choice.

i bought this phone the other day and i was amazing. it has a very very good camera also the mp3 player is quite loud. if you havent had a touch screen phone before you find it hard for the first 3 days as you have to get used to it. the viewty comes with a pen so you can make it easier for yourselves. overall i think that this is a really good touch screen phone.

i think this phone is on the verge of being better than the iphone with it fully touch and a fantastic connection to the internet. also its camera is exellant, my LG Viewty is the new red one which looks fantastically brill, theres no negative thing about it, allthough its a bit chunky but who minds, this phones fab i would fully recomend it, its the key to your heart!!

I am wondering why there are reviews that say it is not compatible with vista? As I have vista and can use the lg pc suite quite easily... As for the phone itself, it's great, but I think I just don't get on with touch screen phones, my hands are too small! I text alot, so touch screen probably isn't best for me. But great phone overall, the memory is really good and I will be sad to see it go soon when I upgrade to a possibly lesser spec, but easier to use phone!! :)

The LG Viewty is absolutely fantastic my best phone ever :D And what’s great is that its got everything good that you look for in a phone all stored on to it! Its 5 MP camera blows me away and the lens is fantastic. Also, the touch screen thing is awesome; same with the texting it’s so cool! I Love this, and this is great for anyone’s Christmas present!!!!

I love this, wanted it ever since I saw it, but now we all have vista, there’s no way to upload photos so I’m very annoyed! Still stunning phone, cant let that on thing make the phone look bad.

Just got my LG yesterday. For all those women who think its plain, I have got it in purple and all my friends have been playing on it all day! There are many varieties of texting which I love as well as the stunning 5MP Camera and the slow-motion video is amazing! Overall its a BRILLIANT phone would recommend to all!

My Viewty has not given me any problems since I got it last December. One of the good things is that it has a lot of support applications as well as free games. Excellent phone, my best yet! Love everything the screen is really responsive and easy to use and as for the camera...well its great, bought it for the camera and can't fault the camera itself...but...no Vista compatibility and no warning so now a great camera phone has now become completely useless to me! And LG's response was well poor, no evening no weekend 10min call answer time and useless staff don't really help you get a resolution…. you only get an answer of "its not compatible with Vista" – that’s it full stop, no apology, no explanation and their only suggestion that "may" work, remove your firewall and anti Virus, hmm reassuring.
So great phone spoiled 100% by bad customer service and mis-selling!

Great phone, easy to use and navigate through the menu. The picture quality is very disappointing compared with other makes of lesser pixels. It lost all the sharpness on prints and on any zoom.

This phone is excellent and I highly recommend it. The touch screen is novel and exciting and although it’s difficult to begin with you very quickly get used to scrolling and moving through the menus. Battery life is good on standby approx 3 days, though only about 3 hours if you do a lot of talking. I do recommend you use the powersave feature as the screen quickly saps power if left on when you’re not using it! I bought it for the camera. 5 Stars says it all. I love this phone.

I have had a lot of phones in my time, over the years but this one is, truly awesome!! It is very slick looking and stylish but has brilliant things on it! The music player is good, you can download unlimited tunes for £1.99 p/w, although sometimes it can't find every kind of music you might want, but most stuff you’ll find. The touchscreen is easy to use and neat! It’s got an excellent camera, and with a massive screen can cover a lot. Ultimately this phone has everything on it with high specs, easy to navigate and very stylish!!

I had this phone yesterday; it’s definitely got to be the best phone I’ve had yet!
Great features, fab 5MP camera, MP3 player, and FM radio...What else would you want? Gorgeous sleek design well manufactured. Although if I was to give advice I’d advise you buy a water proof cover/case for the phone as the screen is extremely sensitive to water therefore (rain). But apart from that it's an all round fabulous phone!! :)

I really love this phone, but I found out that their software isn't compatible with Windows Vista.
Their response was:
Unfortunately there is no Vista compatible software available for this phone. Should one become available, you can download this from our website http://uk.lgmobile.com
There was no warning given about the lack of software compatibility on review websites, and from their response today it seems that LG are not bothered about it either.
Looks like I'll have to hunt down someone with XP just so I can download my photos onto a computer.

The LG KU990 Viewty looks great and has good features but I have had to send it away a few times because the screen keeps breaking as it is very thin and could be broken if you don’t just lightly press it with the pen.

A truly unique and amazing phone to have. The Viewty is crammed with accessories to keep you entertained. These wouldn't be possible to enjoy without the tremendous life span of the battery. On standby it is proven to last over 200 hours and in normal mode it can with stand up 2-3 days of use. The touchscreen is also magnificent with big, easy to use controls. Credit to LG for their efforts on a truly worthy phone.

Touch screen is very responsive. Camera is excellent. Video quality is great with lots of little editing features for photos. External speakers give good volume. Texting on the touch screen is just as fast as a normal button phone (for me)

The hand writing recognition is a bit hit and miss but who would really need this? Also the stylus does not have a storage point in the phone and is kept separate but all features can be used without it IMO.

The LG Viewty is a stunning phone! I just received my upgrade yesterday and I screamed when I saw the packaging for the LG! The camera is a stunning 5MP and the touch screen is an absolute delight. ITS A MUST HAVE. Quite frankly I’d rather have this than the iPhone.
