Samsung's Galaxy range is well known for its out-of-this-world specs but if you're looking for a handset whose technology is a little less alien, then the Samsung Ace might just do the job and comes with all the necessary smartphone goodness that's a little easier to navigate than its bigger galactic siblings.

The pocket-friendly 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen is just the right size for enjoying whatever you fancy and there's plenty to get your teeth into. The Ace is powered up by an 800MHz processor, which is teamed with Android 2.2 Froyo so you're in safe hands from the start. Browsing isn't a problem with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity on board and all the usual Google pieces are included too.

The Ace's 5MP camera will keep you busy as will the media player and there's 158MB of internal memory in which to save all your files. If this doesn't sound like enough then you can always invest in a microSD card, the Ace will take anything up to 32GB.
