Motorola’s Moto 360 smartwatch has had a very minor TV outing, on American favourite The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The device has been getting a great deal of hype recently, and this fleeting glimpse has served to further whet the appetites of tech fans.
When we said it was a fleeting glimpse, we mean it, with the device appearing on the wrist of Joshua Topolsky, editor-in-chief of tech site The Verge and resident gadget expert on the show.
The journalist was there to show of Sony’s new VR headset, but the moment that caught everyone’s attention was when his jacket sleeve rolled up to reveal what was unmistakably Motorola’s upcoming wearable device.
Whether this was a deliberate move or not we don’t know, but it makes the prospect of an imminent release of the Moto 360 seem a little more real. Take a look at a clip of the show, featuring Motorola’s gadget, below.
