The expected line up for Nokia’s upcoming event is gradually growing, with several devices now having made it to the list.
The latest of these is the Lumia 525, which reliable tech news-leaking Twitter account @evleaks has suggested will emerge at the showcase later this month. The handset has been doing the rounds in the rumour mill for some time, known by the codename Glee, but the Lumia 525 tag looks to have now been revealed.
That name points towards the upcoming device being a successor to the Lumia 520, Nokia’s budget smartphone which was recently revealed to be the most popular Windows Phone handset in the world. Rumours that have so far surrounded the Lumia 525 point towards it having a 4.5-inch display, a dual-core 1GHz processor and an Adreno 305 GPU.
Nokia’s event, scheduled for 22 October, should see a slew of new gadgets emerging including the Lumia 1520 phablet and a Windows Phone tablet device. We’ll keep you posted with any more news as it emerges.
