Now, in addition to Spotify and Pandora you can play your favourite tracks from Xbox Music. The service, which launched around a year ago, is now available from the App Store and Google Play.
The belated move from Microsoft follows the service’s availability on the web, and the software giant is now offering a 30-day free start up trial.
Users will need an Xbox Music Pass to gain unlimited access to the full library, coming in a cost of £8.99 per month. The price tag seems rather hefty given listening offline isn’t an option – one of Spotify’s most redeeming features. Xbox has however followed suit with the option of playlist composure and artist based radio stations.
On the bright side, the app itself is free to download and is said to host a vast library comparable to that of its competitors.
