Nokia could be lining up four new handsets to be unveiled at MWC 2013 in Barcelona, according to speculation sparked by a tweet from a Windows Phone 8 developer.

Alan Mendelevich, a software developer from Lithuania, tweeted that he has seen code numbers for four unknown Nokia devices crop up in information relating to US network Verizon.

It’s said that some of these numbers could possibly refer to the already rumoured Lumia 520 and Lumia 720, details of which have been the subject of discussions amongst Nokia fans recently.

The Lumia 520 is thought to be a budget device that will sit below the Lumia 620 in the Finnish firm’s range. The Lumia 720 on the other hand is thought to be a mid-range handset with a 4.3-inch display and 6 megapixel camera.

There are no rumours that point towards what the other two devices may be, although it is possible that they could be alternative versions of existing Windows Phone 8 handsets.

Nokia is also said to be working on a flagship WP8 phone that will feature the full, 41 megapixel version of its PureView camera. Although the PureView tech did make it to Windows Phone in the Lumia 920, it was in a trimmed down (but still very impressive) 8 megapixel variant.
