Rumours surrounding the HTC M7 have been doing the rounds for sometime, but now images of the Taiwanese manufacturer’s new flagship have leaked online.
If the images published by Android Police are legitimate then it looks as though the M7, which is expected to be unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), will include a major update to HTC Sense 5.0.
When compared to previous iterations of the user interface, the Sense 5.0 skin appears to have jettisoned some of the 3D elements.
The device itself looks much different to a render leaked via Twitter last week, and judging by these latest pictures it appears to have a lot in common with current HTC devices such as the DROID DNA.
HTC has once again opted for physical keys below the display although they appear to have been rearranged with the home and multitasking key having switched places.
The display looks to fall in line with previous rumours too with the M7 featuring a 4.7-inch screen, as seen on the One X, although the resolution would be upped to 1080p.
For now we must take the leak with a pinch of salt but if HTC brings all of these specs to the table at MWC on 25 February, it looks as though it could soon be back to competing with the Android elite.
