Rumours emerging about a future Samsung device suggest the Korean firm’s phablet range could be getting even bigger.
Asian newspaper the Korea Times claims that the Galaxy Note III, as the device could be called, will have a 6.3-inch display. Samsung’s Note II, launched in September last year, has a 5.5-inch screen.
The Korea Times also suggest that the prospective handset may launch at some point later in 2013.
Other rumours about the Galaxy Note III suggest that Samsung could be planning on making use of its new Exynos 5 Octa processor, a new chip that features eight cores and was launched at last week’s CES 2013 tradeshow.
Apple has been making efforts to find an alternative chip supplier for its smartphones and tablets and Samsung could be looking at the enormous Chinese market to make up for the business it would lose if the iPhone maker was to go elsewhere for its processors in future.
