Predicted to be released in January, the new BlackBerry OS has been in the pipeline since it was announced by the Canadian manufacturer at its showcase event in Florida in May.
The clip, which appears to be an internal company promotional video, was discovered by BlackBerry news site CrackBerry and shows a full touchscreen handset along with another device featuring a physical keypad.
RIM previously revealed that there have been three different handsets prepared for the launch of BB10, with two featuring full touchscreens and one with a more traditional BlackBerry form factor and physical keypad.
The latter model bears a resemblance to the BlackBerry Bold but sports an angular keyboard design rather than the smooth curves seen on earlier models. Also, the device appears to have fewer physical navigation keys, and a larger display than the Bold.
Along with the devices themselves the video hints at RIM’s plans surrounding the marketing of the new operating system and handsets, with JK Rowling, Lady Gaga and Ridley Scott all mentioned.
