Tech site Pocket-Lint claims to have spoken to an unnamed source who revealed details about the Taiwanese manufacturer’s plans for Microsoft’s upcoming revamp of its mobile platform.

HTC has sent out invitations to an event that will be held in New York on 19 September, although the manufacturer has been cagey about what will actually be announced on that date.
With the only recent release from the Taiwanese firm being the Desire X, which was unveiled at IFA 2012 in Berlin last week, it will be interesting to see if the New York event serves as a showcase for a range of Windows Phone devices.
