A new image purporting to show the Samsung Galaxy S III has appeared online, alongside new specification details for the much-anticipated handset.
Dutch mobile blog GSM Helpdesk has published the apparent official press photo and supposed specs in a report stated to be based on information from an unnamed source.
The accompanying report details specifications of the S III including a full HD Super AMOLED display, Android 4.0 with TouchWiz UI and a 1.5GHz quad-core processor.
The image of the handset aligns closely to previously leaked renders, however it does seem that Samsung have opted for hardware buttons on the S III, moving away from the usual ICS configuration of on-screen navigation buttons.
Also in line with previous speculation, the image reaffirms a launch date of 22 May, with the screen showing an unpacked event calendar entry point for a 22 May press conference in London.
As usual, these rumours are unconfirmed by the manufacturer but it seems safe to suggest that the marked increase in leaks means a launch may well be upon us before too long.
