Following months of mounting speculation concerning new BlackBerry handsets due out before the end of 2011, RIM has leaked details of the Bellagio 9790 and the Curve Touch 9380.
Details of the two prospective devices were posted on BlackBerry’s devblog, although it’s unknown whether RIM intended to make the information public or if the limited specs were for the consideration of developers only.
Neither handset seems to have any particular standout specs; the Bellagio featuring 8GB of storage, NFC-capability, a 1.2GHz processor and 245 PPI on a 2.4-inch screen.
The Curve Touch on the other hand is laden with an 800MHz processor, a 5 Megapixel camera (with 720p HD video recording capabilities), 1GB of storage and NFC. The Curve Touch boasts a 3.2-inch display, but has the same resolution as the Bellagio with a PPI of 189.
As the only official specs leaked are the screen sizes and resolution, it looks like expectant BlackBerry fans will have to wait for a full announcement to discover whether the final devices making up the seven promised by RIM CEO Jim Balsillie by the end of the year will put the ailing manufacturer back on track.
