Samsung has confirmed that a white version of the Samsung Galaxy S II will be released next month. The announcement comes after details of the pale smartphone emerged online with the manufacturer later officially confirming the handset will be available in the UK from 1 September.
Simon Stanford, MD of Mobile at Samsung UK and Ireland said: “Sales of the Galaxy S II have surpassed all expectations since its release in May this year. The arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S II white brings to market an incredibly stylish addition to our latest multi-award winning handset.”
As well a white variant of the Galaxy S II, there are also rumours that a Windows Phone 7 Mango version of the handset is due for release later this year as well as a 3D Galaxy smartphone, based on the specs of the S II.
