New spy shots of the unannounced Nokia C2-06 have emerged online, courtesy of Hackintosh India. It’s thought to be one of the new additions to the Finnish firm’s Touch and Type range and reportedly features a dual-SIM card slot.
Although the touch and type element of the device and the double SIM card slotare interesting elements, the rest of the spec line up is rather underwhelming.
The C2-06 runs on Symbian Series 40 6th Edition and is fitted with a resistive touchscreen, a slide out T9 keypad and a 2 megapixel camera. It doesn’t have Wi-Fi or 3G connectivity though, suggesting that it’s probably heading for the emerging markets rather than UK shores. Doesn’t look like we’ll be missing out on much to be honest.
If you do like the idea of having a phone that has both a touchscreen and keypad, the Nokia X3-02 which is also part of the company’s Touch and Type range, will be right up your street.
