Orange has confirmed that the Motorola Atrix will be landing in the UK early next month. The firm announced that it will be exclusively carrying the Tegra 2 dual-core smartphone from May, but kept the exact release date firmly under wraps.
We’ve been waiting for the Atrix’s arrival for quite some time as it was announced at CES in January with some killer features geared towards the tech savvy business user. Some of its top tech includes a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a Webtop OS that activates when the phone is connected to a specially designed Lapdock. This connects the handset to the user’s laptop in an entirely new way by allowing them to make calls, send texts and access their media via their computer.
Although the Atrix has since been joined in the dual-core crowd by the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation, the additional business features could be a deal breaker for some users and see Motorola have a good stint at the top.
