The boys at N4BB have yet more BlackBerry info to share, this time on the BlackBerry Torch 9860 and BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900. This particular leak makes for very interesting reading as we’re privy to full spec sheets for both handsets.
The Torch 9860, also known as Monza or Monaco, boasts a 3.7″ touchscreen complete with optical trackpad, 1.2GHz processor, 4GB internal storage and a card slot. On the multimedia front there’s a 5 Megapixel camera, with 720p recording, WiFi, GPS and all your usual desktop and media player bits and pieces. Support for BlackBerry 6.1 applications also crop up, leaving little doubt in our mind that the 9860 will run on the 6.1 OS.
The BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900, formerly Dakota, is equally impressive. The QWERTY Bar is said to have a 2.8″ capacitive touchscreen, 1.2GHz processor and 8GB of internal storage. There’s another 5 Megapixel offering with video capture at 720p and numerous add-ons such as a flash, geo-tagging and digital zoom.
Naturally, all this information is subject to change, at least until the official announcement is made. But with the BlackBerry gathering under a month away we’ve not got long to wait.
