Mobile World Congress kicks off in just a few days time but that hasn’t stopped the Sony Ericsson Neo making one more unofficial appearance on the web. MyAndroidLife showed off the next-generation Vivaz in a video posted on YouTube and also sent some pictures of the forthcoming device to GSM Arena.
As first predicted, the Neo captured in the leaked video is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and the site gave us a brief run through of the user interface. Sony Ericsson’s Xperia UI is still present but as we’ve seen on the Sony Ericsson Arc, the manufacturer seems to have toned it down to give Android a chance to shine. Unfortunately, MyAndroidLife has since deleted their YouTube account so the next time we see the Neo will probably be at Sony Ericsson’s press event but at least we don’t have to wait too long for it to officially surface (hopefully!).
Here are still some pictures to whet your appetite for the Vivaz newcomer while we wait for Sony Ericsson’s proceedings to start in sunny Spain.
