How to Improve Music Sound on Motorola Aura

Your Motorola Aura allows you to load songs to listen to via Windows Media Player 11 (by syncing with your computer). You can then listen to the song on your phone using the handset’s built-in speakers, wireless stereo headphones or a wired headset. When listening to your music, you’ll be able to make the sound better on each song by playing around with the different settings. There are three major settings that you can change.

Change your Bass Boost

One of the simplest ways to improve a song’s sound is to change the level of bass that you hear as you listen to it. As you surely know, some songs are supposed to be heavy on the bass and others sound better without a strong emphasis on the bass.

Changing the bass boost on your Motorola Aura is easy. Just do the following:

  • Go in to your music player.
  • Choose “options” from the bottom left side of the screen.
  • Go to “setup”.
  • Choose “stereo effects”.
  • Select “bass boost”.
  • Select “bass level”.
  • Set the desired level.

Change your Equalizer Setting

You can use an equalizer to alter the settings of the bass and treble ranges in a song. Different types of music sound better with different settings. For example, rock songs tend to sound best when all settings are basically equal whereas dance music sounds best with higher levels on the ends of the equalizer and lower settings in the middle ranges.

You can change your equalizer setting on Motorola Aura by following these steps:

  • Go in to your music player.
  • Choose “options” from the bottom left side of the screen.
  • Go to “setup”.
  • Choose “equalizer”.
  • Select “equalizer effects”.
  • Choose the setting that you want.

Change your Stereo Separation

Another way to improve sound on your songs is to alter the stereo separation. This means that you change how much your left ear hears and how much your right ear hears. For example, if an amazing drum solo is happening in the left ear, you might want to turn that up to focus on it.

Change your stereo separation on the Motorola Aura by doing the following:

  • Go in to your music player.
  • Choose “options” from the bottom left side of the screen.
  • Go to “setup”.
  • Choose “stereo effects”.
  • Select “spatial audio”.
  • Select “separation level”
  • Set the desired level.

You may find that these effects aren’t available or aren’t very good when you are listening to the Motorola Aura through the built-in speakers. However, if you plug in a headset or use a wireless headset to listen to the music then the effects will be there.
