The Android-based Samsung Galaxy Fit encapsulates all the good bits from the Samsung smartphone range in sleek, curvaceous and more importantly, affordable bodywork. This 'droid comes with the company's own intuitive TouchWiz user interface and a 600 MHz processor, both of which work to make navigation simple and stutter free.

The 3.3" touchscreen is large enough to view an assortment of media and scour the web, be it over WiFi or 3G, and catch up with work using the pre-loaded Mobile Office application. Internal memory stops at 160MB, but the Samsung Galaxy Fit comes with a 2GB microSD card, which can be bulked up to 32GB if you so wish.

The 5 Megapixel camera takes precedence within the media department and includes autofocus, geo-tagging and video recording. There's a healthy range of connectivity options available including Samsung's Social Hub; a handy app that pulls everything together from texts and calls, to emails and status updates, straight to the handset. If the Samsung Galaxy range tickles your fancy but you're averse to spending the big bucks then the Galaxy Fit could be just the ticket.
